U of T generates $1 billion
The U of T announced last Thursday that it has achieved a fundraising milestone. The Campaign for the U of T, a fundraising initiative started in 1997, recently broke the $1 billion mark.

students at Erindale remember last Monday because that's when the cold weather really hit. Some classes were cancelled, traffic increased and the line at Tim Hortons was longer than usual.

Athletics bans use of cellular cameras
The Centre for Physical Education (CPE) at UTM has banned the use of cell phones equipped with digital cameras in its facilities. The ban is in response to concerns being expressed nationwide about inappropriate photographs being taken in change rooms and work-out areas using cell phone cameras.

UTM students join in protest of French ban on religious sings
UTM students recently joined hundreds of other demonstrators at a peaceful rally in front of the French Consulate in downtown Toronto to show opposition to proposed French legislation that would see all 'conspicuous' religious signs banned in France's public schools and state institutions.
