Reopen Spigel 24hrs? |
The Students' Administrative Council (SAC) at UTM has prepared
a petition to reopen Spigel Hall as a
24 hour study space. The petition collected 1700 signatures
as of Oct. 1, and SAC plans to present it at the next meeting
of Quality Service to Students (QSS) on Oct. 23, 2003. |

Confusion over ECSU finances |
It seems that the Erindale College Student Union (ECSU)
did not lose money on frosh week after all. In fact, it
seems they made money. ECSU's financial situation following
a successfully planned but sparsely attended orientation
week is a matter of confusion. |
Crooked politician hopes for re-election |
Cliff Gyles, former municipal councilor for Mississauga
Ward Five, has decided he will run for
re-election. His decision comes after a long and serious
court case in which he was convicted for municipal corruption
and breach of trust.

Professional
schools fair hits the SC |
Last Wednesday, the Student
Centre hosted the packed and very popular
Professional Schools Fair. The atmosphere much resembled
a marketplace as institutions from Canada, America and abroad
lined their booths throughout the building. |
