Club week gets mixed reviews
 

  Posters, tables, televisions, and students cluttered the halls of the Student Centre during Clubs Week last week. Academic, cultural, religious, and interest clubs used gimmicks, such as “free kisses” and candies, to capture students’ attention. “This year, [Clubs Week] is well organized. The rotation is really well done,” said Kent from the Anime Club.

As students encounter a more stringent schedule during the school year, there remains to be a high demand for jobs with flexible hours and valuable experience. UTM’s Career Centre is presently hoping to cater to these needs by offering a variety of positions, namely several opportunities that differ from those offered in previous years.
 

No search has been conducted for a new UTM Registrar for over a year, until now. Mark Overton, Dean of Student Affairs, has undertaken both roles since his promotion from Registrar to Dean of Student Affairs last September.
