This guy is finding ways to cheer up after he hears the pub-rent fee news.

Pub rent at
lesser fee

Since the Student Centre opened in 1999, the ongoing deliberation as to who is responsible for paying the rent for the Blind Duck Pub continues. Although the Erindale College Student Union (ECSU) owns the pub, they adamantly oppose the required $12,000 fee the Student Council Management Board (SCMB) imposed on them. Despite payment of rent being stipulated in a contract when the Student Centre was built, ECSU feels the charge is unfair and unjustified.

UTM remembers U.S. tragedy as one year anniversary nears

The beginning of another school year also marks the one-year anniversary of the terror attacks on the world trade center. UTM remembers the heroes and victims of September 11.

UTM students are pumped up about Frosh Week. Little do they know what lies ahead of them in the four grueling years coming up.
