This film borders on pretentious because it exalts, criticizes, and discards the narrative form all at the same time.

Last Wednesday, Ontario university students rallied to freeze tuition in several cities. Here in the GTA, students from all three U of T campuses, Ryerson, York, Guelph, and OCAD marched onto Queen’s Park to tell the provincial government how they feel about rising tuition fees and the possibility of deregulation.

Students strapped on their feedbags and chowed down at the Blind Duck Pub last Thursday evening.

Last week we learned Principal Robert McNutt plans to recommend that the Erindale College Council (ECC) no longer vote on annual rate change proposals.

This week, ECC Chair Judith Poe emphasized that no one person, including the principal, has the power to implement this change.
