Political activist, journalist and feminist Naomi Klein conducted two lecture and discussion sessions at UTM expressing her views on the globalization of the world.

Klein is the author of the international best-seller “NO LOGO: Taking Aim at the Brand Bullies,” which has been translated into 16 languages.

SC and pub boards to join
UTM clinic imposes fee

Last Wednesday, the Pub Management Board (PMB) and the Student Centre Management Board (SCMB) decided to hold occasional joint board meetings to discuss issues of interest to both.

Since the Blind Duck Pub relocated to the Student Centre members of both boards expressed that there was overlapping of discussed topics.

Starting this December, students who don’t show up for appointments at Health Services may have to pay a price.

UTM’s Health Services will charge students $20 for missing a half-hour appointment with a physician without giving 24 hours cancellation notice.
