ECSU VP quits, 4th
resignation for council

Selick’s Monkeybone is for the dogs
It’s ironic that Brendan Fraser’s
character in Monkeybone spends
eighty percent of his screen time in
a coma, on artificial resuscitation,
because that’s exactly what director
Henry Selick’s Monkeybone feels
like.

A bad year for ECSU just got worse. Up
until two weeks ago, this year’s council
had lost only three members. But now
Vice President of Administration Lisa
Capobianco has slapped her hand down
on the table and declared that she’s out.
According to ECSU Vice President of
Finance Rose Oliveira, Capobianco did
not give two weeks notice before leaving.

Some Vibe deejays don’t like paying to
volunteer. The campus radio station
recently reduced the fee it charges
deejays to $30 (from $40) so that
volunteers starting halfway though the
year wouldn’t be hit so hard financially.
But some deejays still oppose the fee.
